An update: We hit our storage capacity (again), and lets just say the failsafe to stop that causing the server to go boom didn't quite work as expected. We've noticed the following behaviours that have gotten us to this point:

• Many old uploads that haven't been used within the last year, taking up considerable amounts of space
• A few users with very large libraries using a unfair amount of space
• Everyone else using Jukehost as intended, and we thank you for being here!

Immediate Resolution In order to keep Jukehost running we have removed a handful of large items (>50MB) that should not exist. In order to restore Upload functionality (will be available by midday GMT tomorrow (31st March)) we have removed all uploads that haven't been actively played within a year (~130k). This means that if the last time your upload was requested was before the 1st March 2025, it has been removed. Whilst we don't want to be removing your uploads without notice, we have. We don't intend to do this again ever, but will be rolling a new policy to ensure fair usage amoungst everyone. New Policy Going ahead, all uploads will be subject to removal if they have not been played back within one year. This is a very generous timeframe and should be suitable for everyone. This allows us to keep Jukehost free for everyone for aslong as possible. What Jukehost Costs We know some of you may be interested in what it costs to run Jukehost. It's around £500 a year. Paid entirely by me, and previously paid by the co-owner. We would us the odd donation to help supplement that aswell. We are looking into setting up a new way to collect donations for those who wish to help contribute. If you are interested in lending a hand please let us know.
